This page will provide you with additional information about your Legislative Brief. This is the largest and most significant assignment in the class. The Legislative Brief is used to track the development of a particular social welfare policy introduced in this session of the Georgia legislature. It is important to look at the bills being introduced in this legislative session as soon as possible. The links in the sidebar on this page will give you additional information about the legislative session and what resources are available to assist you in completing this task.
There is a page under the Brief page that contains links to all of the Blogs and Briefs from previous years, which you can refer to for examples. You can see that the actual presentation of the Legislative Brief followed the outline contained in your syllabus and was presented in a digital format. We will be discussing this at several points during the semester.
